- Das Ladenschlussgesetz (Abkürzung LadSchlG) ist ein deutsches Bundesgesetz zur Regelung der Öffnungszeiten von Verkaufsstellen i. S. v. § 1 Abs. 1. Seit der Föderalismusreform 2006 liegt die Gesetzgebungskompetenz über die Ladenöffnungszeit bei den Bundesländern. - In the Federal Republic of Germany, the Ladenschlussgesetz or "Shop Closing Law" (abbreviated: LadSchlG) is the federal "blue law" compelling retail stores to close to the public on Sundays and Christian holidays. The Ladenschlussgesetz in its current form was first enacted on 28 November 1956 following pressure from Germany's trade unions; in its last revision (of 2 June 2003), points of sale (Verkaufsstellen) must be closed at any of the following times: 1.
* On Sundays and public holidays; 2.
* On working days (Monday through Saturday) before 06:00 and after 20:00; 3.
* On 24 December before 06:00 and after 14:00 if that date falls on a working day The law provides differing regulations for pharmacies, petrol stations, shops at train stations and airports, etc. On 30 June 2006, as part of the Föderalismusreform ("Federalism Reform"), the regulatory responsibility for this area was devolved to the German states. The net effect, although the Federal law technically remains in force, the states are free to determine the opening hours of retail stores in their areas. All states – with the exception of the more conservative Bavaria – have made use of that option. (en)

* 日曜および公的祝日 2.
* 月曜から土曜については、6:00未満もしくは20:00以降 3.
* 12月24日では、この日が労働日である場合は6:00未満もしくは14:00以降 同法では、薬局、新聞・雑誌の販売スタンド、ガソリンスタンド、鉄道の駅、空港とフェリー港については別途個別の規定がある。 日曜および祝日を規制する(1)以外の条項については、連邦州の法にて個別規制することもできる。 違反者については、最高で2500ユーロの罰金となる。 故意の違反を行うことで、労働者を危険を晒したり、健康を害した場合には、最高で懲役6か月もしくは罰金となる。 (ja)
