- تُعرف ضريبة كوشر (أو الضريبة اليهودية) بأنها فكرة مفادها أنه يتعين على شركات الغذاء والمستهلكين دفع الأموال لدعم القضايا اليهودية أو الصهيونية وإسرائيل بموجب تكاليف شهادة اعتماد كوشر. غالبًا ما يُنظر إلى هذا الادعاء على أنه نظرية مؤامرة أو إشاعة معادية للسامية أو أسطورة مدنية. يوجد العديد من الحجج التي تنفي هذا الادعاء، ومنها أن اليهود ليسوا وحدهم المستهلكين الذين يفضلون أطعمة كوشر فحسب، بل يوجد كذلك المسلمون والسبتيون وغيرهم ممن يتناولونها، ولذلك تسعى شركات الأغذية إلى الحصول على شهادات كوشر لزيادة حصتها في السوق والربحية، بالإضافة إلى أن الرسوم التي يجري تحصيلها تدعم منظمات الاعتماد نفسها، وأن الاعتماد لا يؤدي بالضرورة إلى زيادة أسعار المنتجات، بل قد يؤدي إلى توفير تكاليف كل سلعة. Common refutations include: because consumers who prefer kosher foods include not only Jews, but also Muslims, Seventh-day Adventists, and others, food companies actively seek kosher certification to increase market share and profitability; the fees collected support the certifying organizations themselves; extra business generated by the voluntary certification process more than makes up for the cost of supervision, hence the certification does not necessarily increase the price of products, and may in fact result in per item cost savings. La pretesa secondo cui i consumatori sarebbero sottoposti a questa tassa è stata avanzata da varie parti. Analoghe affermazioni vorrebbero che la "tassa" sia "estorta" alle aziende alimentari, desiderose di sottrarsi al boicottaggio. Nonostante non si tratti puramente di una teoria antisemita, né di ipotesi di complotto, molte associazioni e personalità si sono espresse al riguardo.
