- كاوس جي إل (بالإنجليزية: KAOS GL) هي جمعية للبحوث الثقافية ومنظمة تضامنية مع أفراد مجتمع الميم ((بالتركية: Kaos Gey ve Lezbiyen Kültürel Araştırmalar ve Dayanışma Derneği))، تأسست في عام 1994، هي واحدة من أقدم وأكبر المنظمات المعنية بحقوق المثليين في تركيا. في أنقرة عام 2005 أصبحت المنظمة التي تتخذ من تركيا مقراً لها أول منظمة للمثليين والمثليات يتم تسجيلها قانونيا كجمعية في تركيا، بعد أن تم استئناف طلبهم في البداية من قبل نائب حاكم أنقرة. كانت المنظمة تنشر مجلة لهم بعنوان: كاوس جي إل (الآن منشور ربع سنوي) منذ تأسيسها. تدير المجموعة مركز كاوس جي إل الثقافي، الذي يستضيف الأنشطة الثقافية والاجتماعات وعروض الأفلام. يضم المركز أيضاً مكتبة لتاريخ المثليين. اتخذت المنظمة أيضا موقفا بشأن مسائل أوسع نطاقا تتعلق ب حقوق الإنسان في تركيا. في عام 2017، قال متحدث باسم المنظمة: «بدأ حزب العدالة والتنمية حربا ضد جميع المعارضين، وليس الأرمن فقط. فهي تمنع جماعات المعارضة من التجمع واتخاذ إجراءات جماعية. إن العدالة الاجتماعية والسلام تحت مسؤوليتنا». Sie wurde im September 1994 gegründet und gehört zu den größten LGBT-Organisationen in der Türkei. 2005 war KAOS GL die erste LGBT-Organisation, der es gelang, in der Türkei offiziell als Vereinigung registriert zu werden. Daraufhin versuchten Politiker, eine Schließung der Organisation zu erwirken. Diese Versuche scheiterten jedoch. 2008 organisierte KAOS GL am Internationalen Tag gegen Homophobie, Transphobie und Biphobie zusammen mit der Vereinigung Lesbian Association and Pink Life LGBTT die erste LGBT-Demonstration in der türkischen Hauptstadt Ankara. - KAOS GL, short for Kaos Gay and Lesbian Cultural Research and Solidarity Association (Turkish: Kaos Gey ve Lezbiyen Kültürel Araştırmalar ve Dayanışma Derneği), founded in 1994, is one of the oldest and largest LGBT rights organisations in Turkey. In 2005, the Ankara-based organisation became the first Turkish LGBT organisation to be legally registered as an association, after their application was initially appealed by deputy governor of Ankara. The organisation has been publishing the journal KAOS GL (now a quarterly publication) since its founding. The group operates the KAOS Cultural Center, which hosts cultural activities, meetings, and showings of films. The centre also houses an LGBT history library. The organization has also taken a stance on broader issues of human rights in Turkey. In 2017, a spokesperson for the organization stated: "AKP started a war against all opponents, not only Armenians. They stop opposition groups coming together and taking collective action. Social justice and peace is under our responsibility". (en)
