- The Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE), known until 2020 as Joint Cyber-Defence Command (MCCD), is a Spanish cyberspace service of the Defence Staff responsible for planning and carrying out he actions related to cyber defence in networks and information and telecommunications systems of the Ministry of Defense or others that might be entrusted, as well as contributing to the adequate response in cyberspace to threats or aggressions that may affect to the National Defense. In this sense, the MCCD directs and coordinates, in the matter of cyber defense, the activity of the centers of response to incidents of security of the information of the different branches Armed Forces; it exercises the timely, legitimate and proportionate response in cyberspace to threats or aggressions that may affect the National Defense and defines, directs and coordinates awareness, training and specialized training in this area. In addition, he is responsible for the development and detail of the Information Security policies in the Information and Telecommunications Systems (SEGINFOSIT) and the direction of execution and control of compliance with these policies, within the scope of the Ministry of Defense. The MCCD was created on February 19, 2013 by a Defence Ministry Order 10/2013, by which the Joint Cyber-Defence Command is created. In 2020, it was renamed as Joint Cyberspace Command. - El Mando Conjunto del Ciberespacio (MCCE), hasta 2020 conocido como Mando Conjunto de Ciberdefensa (MCCD), es un órgano del Estado Mayor de la Defensa (EMAD) responsable del planeamiento, la dirección, la coordinación, el control y la ejecución de las acciones conducentes a asegurar la libertad de acción de las Fuerzas Armadas en el ámbito ciberespacial. Para cumplir su misión, planea, dirige, coordina, controla y ejecuta las operaciones militares en el ciberespacio, de acuerdo con los planes operativos en vigor. En el ámbito de estas operaciones, realiza las acciones necesarias para garantizar la supervivencia de los elementos físicos, lógicos y virtuales críticos para la defensa y las Fuerzas Armadas. Asimismo, es responsable, en colaboración con el EMACON, de la definición de requisitos operativos, seguimiento de la obtención y el sostenimiento de los medios de ciberdefensa, CIS (Sistemas de Información y Telecomunicaciones) conjuntos de Mando y Control, de Guerra Electrónica y Navegación, Identificación y Sistemas de Observación de la Tierra, velando por la interoperabilidad de estos con los específicos de los Ejércitos y de la Armada. También, presta apoyo CIS a la estructura del EMAD. Por último, se encarga de asegurar la autoridad del JEMAD sobre la Infraestructura Integral de Información para la Defensa (I3D) en el ámbito operativo. A su cargo se encuentra un Comandante Jefe con rango de oficial general. Sus instalaciones se encuentran dentro de la Base de Retamares, en Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid). Fue creado el 19 de febrero de 2013, en virtud de la Orden del Ministerio de Defensa 10/2013, por la que se crea el Mando Conjunto de Ciberdefensa. (es)
