- John Francis Dunn II (Filadelfia, 7 de junio de 1943 - 21 de junio de 2018) conocido como John Dunn, fue un desarrollador de software de arte y música estadounidense y un investigador pionero en el ámbito de la música electrónica. Inventor de varios softwares para ser usados por artistas y diseñadores visuales. Como artista de sonido y desarrollador de software, John Dunn fue también pionero en la música y el arte en computadora, desde los años 70 cuando combinó microcomputadores y sintetizadores de sonido y vídeo analógicos. Fue uno de los alumnos más relevantes de Sonia Sheridan en el Departamento de investigación tecnológica de Sistemas Generativos en la "The School of the Art Institute of Chicago". (es)
