- Josiah Alexander Sila (born 25 June 2003), known professionally as Joey Alexander, is an Indonesian jazz pianist. He became the first Indonesian musician to chart on Billboard 200 when his album My Favorite Things debuted at number 174 and then peaked at 59. Widely regarded as a wunderkind, Alexander taught himself to play jazz at the age of six by listening to his father's classic jazz albums. He won the Grand Prix at the 2013 Master-Jam Fest when he was nine. In 2014, Wynton Marsalis invited him to play at Jazz at Lincoln Center. His first album, My Favorite Things, was released in 2015 when he was 11 years old. Alexander played at the Montreal and Newport Jazz Festivals in 2015 and has performed for Herbie Hancock, Bill Clinton, Wendy Kiess, and Barack Obama. (en)

Dalam usia sangat muda (7 tahun) ia telah menguasai teknik permainan piano dan improvisasi yang sangat penting dalam aliran musik jazz. Ia merilis album musik perdananya yang berjudul "My Favorite Things" pada tanggal 12 Mei 2015 di usia 11 tahun di bawah Motema Record, New York. Melalui album ini, Joey mendapatkan nominasi Anugerah Grammy untuk dua kategori: Best Instrumental Jazz Album ("My Favorite Things") dan Best Jazz Solo Improvisation (Giant Steps). Dari album tersebut, akhirnya ia berkesempatan tampil sepanggung dengan penyanyi terkenal Adele, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars pada malam penghargaan Grammy Awards 2016. Ia juga menjadi Artis Asia Tenggara pertama yang tampil di acara bergengsi tersebut dengan Standing Ovation Audience.
