- جدَيدة عرطوز بلدة سورية تقع في منطقة قطنا في محافظة ريف دمشق على بعد 17 كم غرب دمشق. تحدها شمالاً معضمية الشام وجنوباً بلدة عرطوز وتجاورها مدينة داريا من الشرق من الغرب. يوجد للبلدة مدخلان رئيسان على الطريق الواصل بين دمشق وقطنا والقنيطرة؛ يقابل المدخل الأول بلدة جديدَة الفضل بينما يطل المدخل الثاني على مركز تجاري كبير يعرف بسنتر قمرين. تضم البلدة مجموعة مختلطة من السكان؛ مسيحيون ودروز ومسلمون سنّة. يتركّز المسيحيون والدروز في المنطقة الجنوبية لجديدة عرطوز البلد، بينما تعيش غالبية المسلمين السُنّة في منطقة جدَيدة الوادي الشمالية. Nearby localities include Qatana to the west, Artouz to the south, Khan al-Shih to the southeast, and Darayya to the northeast. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, Jdeidat Artouz had a population of 45,000 in the 2004 census. It has a mixed population of Christians, Druze, and Sunni Muslims. Christians and Druze primarily live in the southern district of Jdeidat Artouz al-Balad, while Sunnis primarily live in the northern district of Jdeidat al-Wadl. (en)
