- The Islamic Society of Engineers (ISE) (Persian: جامعهٔ اسلامی مهندسین, Jāme'-e eslāmī-ye mohandisīn) is a principlist political organization of engineers in Iran. Formerly one of the parties aligned with the Combatant Clergy Association, it is close to the Islamic Coalition Party, whose decisions they mostly follow. It is questionable whether it is an independent and strong party. The Society was formed at the end of the Iran–Iraq War (1988) with the objective of elevating the Islamic, political, scientific and technical knowledge of the Muslim people of Iran, defending major freedoms such as freedom of expression and gatherings, as well as continued campaign against foreign cultural agents whether Eastern or Western materialism. - La Société islamique des ingénieurs (en persan : جامعهٔ اسلامی مهندسین, Jāme'e-ye Eslāmi-e Mohandesin), est un parti politique iranien, membre de l'alliance conservatrice. La société a été formée à la fin de la guerre Iran-Irak, avec l'objectif « d'élever la connaissance islamique, politique, scientifique et technique des musulmans en Iran, en défendant les principales libertés comme la liberté d'expression et de rassemblement, ainsi que de continuer la campagne contre les agents culturels étrangers, matérialistes occidentaux ou orientaux ». Les membres célèbres de la société incluent Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, sixième président de l'Iran, , secrétaire général de la société et premier porte-parole du Majles, et , Secrétaire général adjoint de la société et membre du Conseil de discernement. Bien qu'Ahmadinejad soit un membre de cette société, le parti ne l'a pas soutenu pour l'élection présidentielle iranienne de 2005, mais a soutenu Ali Larijani.

В ходе выборов президента в 2005 Исламское общество инженеров не поддержало кандидатуру Ахмадинежада, что стало причиной второго тура голосования, в котором Ахмадинежад все же одержал победу при поддержке бывшего конкурента Али Лариджани.
