- Das Institut für Hochenergiephysik der Chinesischen Akademie der Wissenschaften (chinesisch 中国科学院高能物理研究所, Pinyin Zhōngguó Kēxuéyuàn Gāonéng Wùlǐ Yánjiūsuǒ), auch bekannt unter seiner englischen Bezeichnung Institute of High Energy Physics bzw. IHEP und gelegen im Stadtbezirk Shijingshan von Peking, ist das größte Zentrum für Grundlagenforschung auf dem Gebiet der Hochenergiephysik in der Volksrepublik China. Es ist der Chinesischen Akademie der Wissenschaften zugeordnet. Die Hauptforschungsbereiche am IHEP sind Teilchenphysik, Beschleunigerphysik und -technologien, Strahlentechnologien und Anwendungen von Strahlung. Direktor des Instituts für Hochenergiephysik ist seit 2011 der Teilchenphysiker Wang Yifang. (de)
