- إيمان سمير درويش الهمص (ولدت عام 1991، وتوفيت في 5 أكتوبر 2004)، هي فتاة فلسطينية كان عمرها 13 عاماً عندما قتلها رصاصات القوات الإسرائيلية قرب نقطة مراقبة عسكرية في منطقة فلسطينية تحظر القوات الإسرائيلية على الفلسطينيين الوجود فيها في مدينة رفح في قطاع غزة عند محور فيلادلفيا، وذلك في 5 أكتوبر 2004. قال جنود السرية التي قتلت الطفلة بأن قائدهم بإطلاق النار عليها مراراً باستخدام رشاش آلي بقصد قتلها، وأكد ذلك شهود فلسطينيون، وأجرى جيش الاحتلال تحقيقاً في ذلك. تعتبر جمعيات حقوق الإنسان مقتلها أحد الحوادث التي تكشف «ثقافة الإفلات من العقاب» في جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي. وتراجع بعض الشهود الرئيسيين لاحقاً عن الإدلاء بشهاداتهم. واتهمت محكمة عسكرية إسرائيلية هذا القائد بالاستخدام غير القانوني لسلاحه، وقيامه بسلوك لا يليق بضابط، وبعرقلة مجرى العدالة، ولكن لم تعتبره مذنباً. لاحقاً اعتبرت محكمة الادعاء بالقدس بأن إطلاقه النار عدة مرات على الطفلة للتأكد من وفاتها «تعزيراً»، وطالبت الصحفي والقناة التي كانت قد بثت التقرير أن تبث صح الأمر. - Iman Darweesh Al Hams (Arabic: ايمان درويش الهمص ʾĪmān Darwīsh al-Hamṣ; also Iyman) (1991 – 5 October 2004) was a 13-year-old Palestinian girl killed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) fire on 5 October 2004, in Rafah, Gaza Strip. The IDF commander of the soldiers who shot her was accused by his comrades and Palestinian witnesses of using automatic fire to deliberately shoot her repeatedly, a subject which was brought into investigation. During trial, he expressed no regret over his actions and said he would have done the same even if the girl was a 3-year-old. His legal team argued that the "confirmation of the kill" after a suspect is shot was a standard Israeli military practice to eliminate terrorist threats. The commander was charged with illegal use of his weapon, conduct unbecoming an officer and perverting the course of justice by an Israeli military court but was found not guilty. Human rights groups cite her death as one of several incidents which illustrate a "culture of impunity" in the IDF. (en)
