- Half-length portrait of a bespectacled man in a suit and bow-tie sitting at a desk, he is looking intently at a piece of paper on top of a small stack of others. Another stack sits in front of him to his left. A clock sits on a mantle behind him with a small picture frame and several books, to its right is a window which fills the room with soft light. (en)
