- Hideo Baba (en japonès: 馬場英雄, Baba Hideo) és un productor japonès de videojocs. És el General productor de la saga , franquícies J-RPG més aclamades per la crítica. Els últims títols en els quals ha treballat han estat Tales of Graces, Tales of Abyss, Tales of Xillia i Tales of Xillia 2. També ha realitzat la remasterització de Tales of Symphonia i Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, disponible en un únic pack anomenat Tales of Symphonia Chronicles per PlayStation 3 (ca)
- Hideo Baba (馬場 英雄, Baba Hideo) is a Japanese video game producer and president of the game development company, Studio Istolia. He formerly worked at Namco Bandai Studios where he was hired by them before their merge to be primarily involved with the production of the Tales of video games. He joined Namco in 2001. From Tales of Innocence (2007), he was the brand manager and the producer of the Tales of video game series. On February 21, 2017, Square Enix announced the formation of a new development studio, Studio Istolia, with Baba the president of the studio and producer of its first game Project Prelude Rune. In April 5, 2019 it was announced that Hideo Baba had resigned from Square Enix and Studio Istolia due to a change in management policies. (en)
- Hideo Baba (馬場 英雄, Baba Hideo) est un producteur de jeu vidéo japonais, président de Studio Istolia. Auparavant, il travaillait pour Namco (devenu Bandai Namco Games) de 2001 à 2016. Il était surtout reconnu comme étant le producteur de la série des Tales of de Tales of Innocence jusqu'à Tales of Zestiria, de 2007 à 2015. En octobre 2016, il quitte Bandaï-Namco et rejoint Square-Enix qui lui propose de fonder un nouveau studio dépendant de l'éditeur à l'instar de Tokyo RPG Factory (I Am Setsuna, Lost Sphear) dont Baba devient le président : Studio Istolia. Le tout premier jeu de ce nouveau studio Project Prelude Rune est en cours de développement Malheureusement, en avril 2019, Hideo Baba quitte Square-Enix et son studio sans même avoir lancé son premier jeu. Ce départ fait sans doute écho à celui de Hajime Tabata survenu il y a quelques mois. (fr)
