Hamer Field Russell (1876 – 6 June 1941) was a British politician. Russell was born in Kingston upon Hull in 1876 the son of John Thomas and Annie Kate Russell, his father was a timber merchant. He attended in Kingston upon Hull before becoming a sales representative then a builders' merchant. He became active in the Liberal Party and stood unsuccessfully as their candidate in Sheffield Ecclesall at the 1923 general election. He also served as a Liberal councillor.
