- The Gaúcho United Front (Portuguese: Frente Única Gaúcha, FUG, also known as the Frente Única, FU) was a coalition of two political parties in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul which formed shortly after Getúlio Vargas became governor. It was composed of the Riograndese Republican Party, led by Borges de Medeiros, and the Liberator Party, led by Joaquim Francisco de Assis Brasil. In 1929 it became a member of the larger , which supported Vargas over Júlio Prestes in the 1930 presidential election. In 1932 split from the FUG to form the , which became the main enemy of the Front in Sul-Riograndense politics. (en)

Foi formada em 1928, pouco após Getúlio Vargas ter tomado posse como governador do estado. Reunia o Partido Republicano Riograndense, liderado por Borges de Medeiros, e o Partido Libertador, liderado por Assis Brasil. Em 1929 integrou a campanha da Aliança Liberal à Presidência da República, apoiando Getúlio Vargas. Em 1932, houve uma cisão entre os partidos, dando origem ao Partido Republicano Liberal, liderado por Flores da Cunha. Foi extinta pelo Decreto nº 37, de 2 de dezembro de 1937. (pt)
