- Frog Mill Ait ist eine Insel in der Themse in England zwischen den Orten in Buckinghamshire und in Berkshire. Die Insel liegt flussaufwärts des Hurley Lock und gehört zu Berkshire. Die Insel ist nach einer Mühle am Ufer benannt. Frog Mill Ait und die angrenzende Black Boy Island waren ein Problem für die Schifffahrt, da der Leinpfad vom Schifffahrtskanal aus auf der anderen Seite der Insel verlief. Darum mussten die Seile über die Insel gezogen werden, was oft dazu führte, dass Boote ans Ufer gezogen wurden. Der Name Poisson Deux ist mit der Umgebung verbunden und man nimmt an, dass er von den Fischreusen, die hier im Fluss befestigt waren, stammt. (de)
- Frog Mill Ait is an island in the River Thames in England between the villages of Medmenham, Buckinghamshire and Hurley, Berkshire. It is situated on the reach above Hurley Lock. The island is named after a mill on the bank here. Frog Mill Ait and the adjacent Black Boy Island presented a problem to navigation because the towpath was on the other side of the island from the main navigation channel. Hence tow lines had to sweep over the islands, often with the result that barges were pulled onto the shore. The name "Poisson Deux" is associated with the area, and this is believed to derive from fish ducts or traps in the river here. (en)
