- Fuerte Tiuna or Fort Tiuna (more formally the Military Complex of Fort Tiuna) is the name given to one of the most recognized military installations in the city of Caracas and the South American and Caribbean country of Venezuela. There are important institutions of various types, such as the headquarters of the Ministry of Popular Power for Defense, EFOFAC, The General Command of the Army, El Libertador Shooting Range, the Army Food Center, the Caracas Military Circle, Paseo Los Próceres, the Bolívar Battalion, La Viñeta Residence (Official Residence of the Vice President) and some units of the Venezuelan Military Academy. It is located between Coche and El Valle parishes, both south of the Libertador Municipality and southwest of the Caracas Metropolitan District, to the north center of Venezuela. It houses not only military structures but also sports, urban, cultural, financial spaces etc, highlights the Complex a complex of thousands of homes built under the auspices of the Ministry of Habitat and Housing and Residences Carlos Raúl Villanueva assigned to military personnel. - El Fuerte Tiuna (más formalmente Complejo Militar de Fuerte Tiuna) es el nombre que recibe una de las instalaciones militares más reconocidas de la ciudad de Caracas y de Venezuela. Allí funcionan importantes instituciones de diverso tipo, como la sede del Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Defensa, la EFOFAC, La Comandancia General del Ejército, Polígono de Tiro El Libertador, el Centro de Alimentación del ejército, el Círculo Militar de Caracas, El Paseo Los Procéres, el Batallón Bolívar, la Residencia La Viñeta (Residencia oficial del Vicepresidente) y algunas dependencias de la Academia militar de Venezuela. Se localiza entre las Parroquias Coche y El Valle, ambas al sur del Municipio Libertador y al suroeste del Distrito Metropolitano de Caracas, al centronorte de Venezuela. Debido a su gran extersión alberga no solo estructuras militares sino también espacios deportivos, urbanísticos, culturales, financieros, etc, destaca el Complejo Ciudad Tiuna un complejo de miles de viviendas construido bajo el auspicio del Ministerio de Hábitat y Vivienda y las Residencias Carlos Raúl Villanueva asignadas a personal militar.
