- Der Flekkerøytunnel ist ein einröhriger, zweispuriger Unterwassertunnel auf dem Stadtgebiet von Kristiansand in der Provinz Agder, Norwegen. Er verläuft unter dem Sund Vestergapet, der die zur Stadt gehörige Insel Flekkerøya vom Festland trennt, und der kleinen Insel und trägt die Provinzstraße 457 von Kroodden im Stadtteil Vågsbygd hinüber auf die Insel. Der Straßentunnel ist 2321 Meter lang und erreicht eine Tiefe von 101 Meter unter dem Meeresspiegel. Die größte Steigung im Tunnel ist 10 %. Baubeginn war am 1. August 1988. Der Durchbruch erfolgte am 6. März 1989, und bereits am 15. August 1989 wurde der Tunnel für den Verkehr freigegeben. Er ersetzte die Fährverbindung zwischen Møvig in Kristiansand und Lindebøkilen auf Flekkerøya. Die Baukosten betrugen 87 Millionen NOK, von denen die norwegische Straßenverkehrsbehörde 19 Millionen NOK und die Kommune Kristiansand 3 Millionen NOK übernahmen. Der Löwenanteil von 65 Millionen NOK wurde durch eine Maut aufgebracht, die bis zum 14. Juli 1998 erhoben wurde. (de)
- The Flekkerøy Tunnel (Norwegian: Flekkerøytunnelen) is a subsea road tunnel on the county road 457 in the municipality of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. It is the southernmost subsea tunnel in Norway. The tunnel runs under the strait between Kroodden on the mainland and the island of Flekkerøya. The tunnel is 2,321-metre (7,615 ft) long, it reaches a depth of 101 metres (331 ft) below sea level, and the maximum gradient is 10%. Construction started on the Flekkerøy tunnel on 1 August 1988. The breakthrough in the tunnel was on 6 March 1989 and the tunnel was opened on 15 August 1989. It replaced a ferry connection between Møvik in mainland Kristiansand and Lindebøkilen on the island of Flekkerøy. Construction costs were 87 million kr. Tolls were collected from the opening in 1989 until 14 July 1998. Fire safety in the tunnel is considered to be good. (en)
