- "Falling Down" is a song by English rock band Oasis, from their seventh studio album Dig Out Your Soul (2008). Written and sung by lead guitarist Noel Gallagher, it was released on 9 March 2009 as the third single from the album with the digital release occurring a day earlier. It was the final single released by the band before their break-up just over five months later in August 2009. It would remain the last new release from the band for more than eleven years until April 2020 with the release of the promotional single "Don't Stop...". (en)

La intro de la canción es similar al tema The Crystal Ship de The Doors. Noel declaró que es un intento de parte de él por emular la atmósfera de "Tomorrow Never Knows" de The Beatles, esto se aprecia en el comprimido sonido de la batería. "Those Swollen Hand Blues", presentada como es la primera canción inédita posterior al lanzamiento del disco. Écrite et chantée par le guitariste Noel Gallagher, la chanson a atteint la 10e place dans les charts britanniques la première semaine, mais n'a été que 37e dans le tableau de téléchargement numérique anglais, probablement en raison de la fuite qui s'était produit sur iTunes peu avant la sortie de ce single. Falling Down affiche une amélioration par rapport au single précédent, I'm Outta Time, qui s'était placé en 12e position dans les charts, sortant du top 10, ce qui fait de ce dernier le premier single de Oasis au Royaume-Uni qui n'intègre pas le top 10 depuis Shakermaker en 1994, contrairement au 22 singles sortis entre ces deux derniers. Les breaks de batterie compressés et le psychédélisme désillusionné de la chanson la fait beaucoup ressembler à Tomorrow Never Knows des Beatles. Un extrait de la principale face-B de la chanson, Those Swollen Hand Blues, apparaît à la fin de Mucky Fingers qui figure sur le sixième album du groupe, Don't Believe the Truth.
