- فادي صوان (مواليد 1960) هو قاضي تحقيق عسكري لبناني، عُرف بعد تكليفه بمهمة التحقيق في انفجار مرفأ بيروت عام 2020، وهو أحد أكبر الانفجارات غير النووية في التاريخ، ال2750 طنًا من نترات الأمونيوم التي قتلت أكثر من 200 شخص، أصابت أكثر من 6000 ودمّرت أجزاء واسعة من بيروت، عاصمة لبنان، في 4 أغسطس 2020. في بلد يوجد فيه تدخّل سياسي في القضاء وفساد، عُرف بأمانته ونزاهته وعدم تلقيه تعليمات من السياسيين، لذلك شكّ الكثيرون في ما يمكنه إنجاز مهمته، ففي فبراير 2021، تمت إزالته من التحقيق، مما زاد من تأخير التحقيق. وهذا بدوره أطلق موجة جديدة من التظاهرات، في إطار الثورة اللبنانية 2019-2021، بمشاركة أهالي الضحايا، وقد تم استنكار هذه الخطوة على نطاق واسع، حيث اعتُقد أنه خُطِط لهذه العرقلة من قِبل السلطات اللبنانية، التي كانت تحت ضغوط كبيرة لتقديم إجابات عن الجريمة التي لم ترى النور حتى اليوم. - Fadi Sawan (Arabic: فادي صوّان, born in 1960) is a Lebanese military investigative judge, who became known after being assigned with the immense task of investigating the 2020 Beirut Port explosion, one of the largest non-nuclear blasts in history, the 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate that killed more than 200 people, wounded over 6,000 and destroyed much of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on August 4, 2020. In a country where political influence over the judiciary is a problem, which is part of corruption in Lebanon, he was known for his honesty and integrity and for not receiving instructions from politicians, thus many doubted that he could accomplish his task. As a result, in February 2021, he was removed from the probe, which will further delay the investigation. This in turn sparked a new wave of demonstrations, as part of the 2019–2021 Lebanese Revolution, with the participation of the families of the victims. The move was widely condemned, as being planned by the Lebanese authorities, who were under of extensive pressure to provide answers for the crime, which have not yet seen the light six months after the explosion.
