- طارق بيطار (عكار، مواليد 1974) هو قاضي لبناني ورئيس محكمة الجناية في بيروت، وثاني قاضٍ يقود التحقيق في قضية انفجار مرفأ بيروت 2020، بعد فادي صوان الذي أقالته المحكمة اللبنانية بعد اتهامه لوزيرين من حركة امل في قضية الانفجار الذي سببه 2750 طنًا من نترات الأمونيوم مخزّنة في المرفأ لأكثر من ست سنوات. واعترض أهالي ضحايا الانفجار على إبعاد صوان خشية عودة القضية إلى الصفر. يوصَف بيطار بأنه ليس لديه أي تحيّز سياسي. في سبتمبر 2021، تلقى بيطار تهديدًا من حزب الله. في 14 أكتوبر 2021، أطلق حزب الله وحليفه حركة امل احتجاجات خارج قصرالعدل في بيروت للمطالبة بإستقالة بيطار، حيث اندلعت اشتباكات دامية بين الاطراف الشيعية من جهة والجيش اللبناني والقوات اللبنانية (كما يزعم) المسيحية من جهة أخرى. - Tarek Bitar (arabe : طارق بيطار, Akkar), né en 1974, est un juge libanais et président du tribunal pénal de Beyrouth qui est le deuxième juge à diriger l'enquête sur l'explosion du port de Beyrouth en 2020, succédant à Fadi Sawwan démis de ses fonctions par la justice libanaise après qu'il eut inculpé deux anciens ministres de négligence dans l'explosion causée par 2 750 tonnes de nitrate d'ammonium laissées à l'abandon sur le port pendant plus de six ans. Cette révocation est alors contestée par les familles des victimes, qui craignent que le renvoi de Sawwan ne ramène l'affaire à zéro. Tarek Bitar est décrit comme n'ayant aucun parti pris ni affiliation à un parti politique. Le 14 octobre 2021, des manifestations sont lancées par les groupes chiites du Hezbollah et du Mouvement Amal devant le Palais de Justice à l'Est de Beyrouth, exigeant la fin de la magistrature de Bitar, l'accusant d'incompétence, au cours desquelles des affrontements militaires éclatent entre eux et l'armée libanaise, et prétendument les partisans des Forces libanaises chrétiennes (voir l'article affrontements de Beyrouth de 2021). - Tarek Bitar (Arabic: طارق بيطار, Akkar, born 1974) is a Lebanese judge and the head of Beirut’s criminal court, who is the second judge to lead the investigation of the 2020 Beirut Port explosion, succeeding Fadi Sawwan who was dismissed by the Lebanese court after charging two former Amal Party ministers over the blast, which was caused by 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate negligently stored in the port for over six years. Sawwan's dismissal was objected to by the victims’ families because they feared that it would take the case back to zero. In September 2021, Bitar received a threat by Hezbollah. Bitar is described as having no bias or affiliations to any political party. On the 14th of October 2021, protests were instigated by the Shiite groups of Hezbollah and the Amal Movement, rebuffed by the Lebanese Army, outside the Justice Palace in Eastern Beirut, demanding an end to Bitar's judgeship, accusing him of political bias and incompetence. Hezbollah partisans have claimed that Lebanese Forces supporters were present, though this is unconfirmed. Clashes erupted between the militants leaving six protesters and one civilian dead (en)
