- Die 25. Bob-Weltmeisterschaft fand 1967 in Alpe d'Huez in Frankreich statt. Dort wurde die Weltmeisterschaft nach 1951 zum zweiten Mal ausgetragen. Wie im Vorjahr kam die Titelentscheidung im Viererbob nicht zur Austragung. Wegen zu hoher Temperaturen wurde der Wettkampf bereits vor dem geplanten Beginn abgesagt. (de)
- The FIBT World Championships 1967 took place in Alpe d'Huez, France for the second time, having hosted the event previously in 1951. The Four-man bobsleigh event was cancelled for the second consecutive year though the cause this time was due to high temperatures that caused the ice on the track to melt rather than a competitor's death as had happened in the previous championship. This was the test event for the bobsleigh events for the Winter Olympics that would take place the following year in neighboring Grenoble. (en)
- I Campionati mondiali di bob 1967, venticinquesima edizione della manifestazione organizzata dalla Federazione Internazionale di Bob e Skeleton, si sono disputati a l'Alpe d'Huez, in Francia, sulla , il tracciato sul quale si svolse la rassegna iridata maschile del 1951 e dove si sarebbero tenute nell'anno successivo le gare di slittino e bob ai Giochi di Grenoble 1968. La località alpina ha ospitato quindi le competizioni iridate per la seconda volta nel bob a due mentre non venne disputata la gara di bob a quattro a causa delle temperature troppo alte che inficiarono la tenuta del ghiaccio sulla pista. L'edizione ha visto prevalere l'Austria che si aggiudicò una medaglia d'oro sulle tre disponibili in totale, sopravanzando l'Italia con un argento e gli Stati Uniti con un bronzo. L'unico titolo assegnato è stato infatti conquistato nel bob a due uomini da Erwin Thaler e Reinhold Durnthaler. (it)
