- El cúmul d'Eridà és un cúmul de galàxies aproximadament a 23 Mpc (75 Mal) de la Terra, que conté uns 73 galàxies principals i unes 200 galàxies totals. Aproximadament el 30% té la classificació de Hubble d'el·líptica o S0 i el restant 70% és espiral o irregular. Aquestes galàxies resideixen en grups més reduïts, que estan lligats gravitatòriament entre si, cosa que suggereix que el sistema es continua condensant des del flux Hubble i pot acabar formant un cúmul d'unes 1014 masses solars. Una dispersió de velocitat baixa en comparació amb la del, per exemple, el cúmul de Coma, admet aquesta hipòtesi. - عنقود النهر أو عنقود مجري إيردنوس في الفلك (بالإنجليزية: Eridanus cluster أو Fornax-II) هي عنقود يبعد عنا نحو 85 مليون سنة ضوئية وترى في المنطقة السماوية بين كوكبة النهر و كوكبة الكور . تأتي هذه المجموعة في الترتيب الثالث من وجهة الكبر بعد عنقود مجري العذراء و مجموعة مجرات الكور القريبة من مجموعتنا المحلية. تنتمي الثلاثة مجموعات المجرية إلى مجموعة أعظم تضمهم مع غيرهم من المجموعات فيما يسمى عنقود مجرات العذراء العظيم. وهذا العنقود يحوي نحو 70 مجرة لامعة تشغل في السماء حيزا يقدر بنحو 10° . تشكل مجموعة النهر مع مجموعة مجرات الكور و «مجموعة مجرات دورادو»وبعض التجمعات الصغيرة عنقودا هائلا من المجرات يسمى . تشير قياسات الرصد إلى أن عنقود مجرات النهر العظيم لا يزال في دور التكوين ، وأن كتلته الكلية تبلغ نحو 1014 كتلة شمسية. القائمة التالية تسجل ال 33 مجرة الأشد سطوعا من بين أعضاء مجموعة مجرات النهر:

- Der Eridanus-Galaxienhaufen (auch Fornax-II-Galaxienhaufen) ist eine Ansammlung von Galaxien, die sich in einer Entfernung von etwa 85 Millionen Lichtjahren an der Grenze des Sternbildes Eridanus zum Sternbild Chemischer Ofen (Fornax) befindet. Nach dem Virgo-Galaxienhaufen und dem Fornax-Galaxienhaufen ist der Eridanus-Galaxienhaufen der uns drittnächste Galaxienhaufen. Wie die beiden anderen genannten gehört auch der Eridanus-Haufen dem Virgo-Superhaufen an. Er enthält etwa 70 hellere Galaxien, die sich über ein Gebiet von etwa 10° am Himmel verteilen. Der Haufen bildet mit dem Fornax-Haufen, der und einigen kleineren Galaxiengruppen die Eridanus-Supergruppe. Jüngere Forschungen weisen darauf hin, dass es sich dabei um einen noch in der Entwicklung befindlichen größeren Galaxienhaufen handelt, der insgesamt eine Masse von bis zu 1014 Sonnenmassen beinhalten wird. - Gromada w Erydanie (również Gromada w Piecu II) – gromada galaktyk znajdująca się głównie w gwiazdozbiorze Erydanu w odległości 85 milionów lat świetlnych. Gromada ta zawiera około 250 galaktyk. Gromada w Erydanie znajduje się 20 milionów lat świetlnych dalej niż gromada w Piecu. Wokół obu gromad są rozrzucone inne grupy galaktyk, z którymi obie gromady mogą tworzyć zwaną też Supergromadą Południową choć dominuje przekonanie, że obie gromady należą do Supegromady Lokalnej. Gromada ta zawiera 73 duże galaktyki, które są dość luźno rozrzucone w przestrzeni.
