- Drest IX, també conegut amb el nom de Drest mac Caustantin (o en la variant Drust), va ser rei dels pictes del 834 al 837. Era fill de i va accedir al tron després de la mort del seu oncle Unuist mac Uurgust en el marc d'una successió patrilinial de tipus , en ús entre els escots. La Crònica picta li atribueix un regnat de tres anys amb que, segons l'historiador britànic Alfred P. Smyth, era el seu cosí. Els dos reis van desaparèixer simultàniament el 837 en circumstàncies que desconeixem i van ser substituïts per , el fill d'Unuist mac Uurgust. (ca)

Το μήκος της βασιλείας του βασίστηκε σε καταλόγους βασιλέων των Πίκτων που τον σχετίζουν με τον Τάλοργκαν γιο του Ουθουάλ, άλλοι ιστορικοί όπως ο Ιωάννης του Φορντάν συγχέουν τους δυο βασιλείς ως "Ντρέστολοργκερ" υπό την επίδραση του παλιότερου Τάλοργκαν Β΄ των Πίκτων. - Drest was king of the Picts, in modern Scotland, from about 834 until 837. He was the son of King Caustantín and succeeded his uncle, Óengus, to the throne. The length of his reign is based on the various Pictish king lists, where he is associated with Talorgan son of Uuthoil. Some sources, such as John of Fordun, conflate the two kings as "Durstolorger", perhaps under the influence of the earlier "Dubthalorc". It was once thought that Pictish kings in this period were also kings of Dál Riata, but this is no longer supported. (en)
