- El Nationaal Park De Hoge Veluwe (Català: Parc Nacional de Hoge Veluwe) és un parc nacional neerlandès de la província de Gelderland, prop de les ciutats d'Ede, Wageningen, Arnhem i Apeldoorn. Disposa, aproximadament, de 55 quilòmetres quadrats d'àrea, consistents en landes, dunes de sorra i boscos poc poblats. Està situat a Veluwe, la zona amb l'àra més gran de morrena terminal dels Països Baixos. Bona part del paisatge del parc i de Veluwe fou creat durant la darrera glaciació. Les àrees de dunes de sorra que s'alternen amb la vegetació podrien haver estat causades per l'ús humà de les terres circumdants. It is approximately 55 km2 (14,000 acres; 21 sq mi) in area, consisting of heathlands, sand dunes, and woodlands. It is situated in the Veluwe, the area of the largest terminal moraine in the Netherlands. Most of the landscape of the park and the Veluwe was created during the last ice age. The alternating sand dune areas and heathlands may have been caused by human utilization of the surrounding lands. The park forms one of the largest continuous nature reserves in the Netherlands. Este parque protege paisajes excepcionales y, aunque vallado, es uno de los grandes núcleos de la red ecológica neerlandesa. Aloja numerosas especies protegidas y ha contribuido por su Centro de interpretación a sensibilizar varios millones de personas en la restauración y protección del medio ambiente y más particularmente en la restauración de la naturalidad de los paisajes, que es característico de este sitio. Le parc abrite des paysages uniques aux Pays-Bas et, bien que clôturé, il constitue l'un des grands noyaux du réseau écologique néerlandais. Il abrite de nombreuses espèces protégées, des habitats protégés (Natura 2000) et a contribué par son Centre d'interprétation à sensibiliser plusieurs millions de personnes à la restauration et protection de l'environnement et plus particulièrement à la restauration de la naturalité des paysages, qui est caractéristique de ce site.Le parc allie nature et culture avec le réputé musée Kröller-Müller situé en son centre. Park zajmuje powierzchnię 5500 hektarów. Pomimo iż przestrzennie nie jest aż tak wielki, to jednak pod względem krajobrazowym jest zróżnicowany. Północną połać zajmuje las liściasty i iglasty, ku południowi las rzednie, pojawiają się pojedyncze sosny, jałowiec, czasem brzozy, oraz suche, srebrzyste trawy, charakteryzujące naturalną biocenozę lotnych piasków i wrzosowisk. Ponadto występują moczary, wrzosowiska, wydmy i pagórki. Na terenie parku można spotkać wiele gatunków drzew i roślin rzadko występujących w Holandii. Niektóre z nich osiągnęły całkiem pokaźne jak na ten kraj rozmiary. Ze zwierząt występują tu: jelenie, dziki i muflony. W parku poprowadzono ścieżki piesze i rowerowe (wszystkie z asfaltu). Niektórymi drogami jeździć mogą nawet samochody. Park został założony w latach 30. XX wieku. Służy dziś mieszkańcom aglomeracji miejskich Randstadu, którzy przyjeżdżają tu w weekendy i wypoczywają, z dala od wielkomiejskiego hałasu. (pl)
