- Hexavakcína (též vakcína 6–v–1) je kombinovaná vakcína šesti individuálních vakcín do jedné a je tak určena pro ochranu před více nemocemi.Označuje obvykle dětskou vakcínu proti záškrtu, tetanu, černému kašli, dětské obrně, žloutence typu B a hemofilové nákaze, která je používána ve více než 90 zemích celého světa včetně Evropy, Kanady, Austrálie a Nového Zélandu. Hexavakcína Infanrix Hexa je v České republice používána již více než 15 let a byly jí naočkovány milióny dětí na celém světě. Díky hexavakcíně může kojenec získat ochranu před šesti nebezpečnými nemocemi najednou a není ho potřeba očkovat po dlouhou dobu mnoha samostatnými vpichy. (cs)
- Der hexavalente Impfstoff, auch Sechsfachimpfstoff genannt, ist ein Impfstoff, der per intramuskulärer Injektion zur Grundimmunisierung und Auffrischimpfung gegen sechs unterschiedliche Infektionskrankheiten eingesetzt wird: Kinderlähmung, Diphtherie, Tetanus, Keuchhusten, Haemophilus influenzae Typ b sowie Hepatitis B. Bei Einhaltung eines 2+1- oder 3+1-Impfschemas sind Säuglinge und Kleinkinder danach zu über 90 % gegen fünf der sechs Infektionskrankheiten langfristig geschützt. Beim größten Teil der Geimpften ist 5–7 Jahren nach der Impfung kein Pertussisschutz mehr vorhanden. Empfohlen werden Kombinationsimpfstoffe, weil sie die Handhabung vereinfachen und die Akzeptanz erhöhen, die Kosten senken, die Zahl der Injektionen und das Auftreten möglicher Nebenwirkungen verringern, sowie die Menge an Abfall reduzieren. Beim Sechsfachimpfstoff handelt es sich um einen Totimpfstoff, d. h., er beinhaltet im Gegensatz zu Lebendimpfstoffen wie z. B. dem Masern-Mumps-Röteln-Impfstoff keine funktionsfähigen Krankheitserreger. (de)

- Le vaccin diphtérique, tétanique, coquelucheux, de l'hépatite B, poliomyélitique et de l'Haemophilus influenzae type b (abrégé en vaccin DTC-HepB-P-Hib ou DTCa-HepB-P-Hib) est un vaccin combiné hexavalent destiné aux nourrissons. Il comprend donc 6 vaccins, contre la diphtérie, le tétanos, la coqueluche, l'hépatite B, la poliomyélite et les infections invasives à Haemophilus influenzae de type b. Il est fabriqué et commercialisé par les laboratoires GlaxoSmithKline depuis 2004 sous le nom Infanrix hexa ou par Sanofi Pasteur, sous le nom de Hexyon. Ce vaccin peut être utilisé chez le jeune enfant jusqu’à l’âge de 36 mois afin de l’immuniser contre les six maladies visées, en trois injections réalisées aux âges de 2, 4 et 11 mois d'après le calendrier des vaccinations.
