- متلازمة العظم المكعب، هي حالة تأتي نتيجة إصابة طفيفة في المفصل العقبي المكعباني والأربطة المحيطة بعظمة المكعب وهي واحدة من أصل السبع العظام الرصغية الموجودة في القدم البشرية. تظهر هذه الحالة غالبًا على شكل ألم في جانب القدم (جانب خنصر القدم). وفي بعض الأحيان ألم في القدم عامة. متلازمة العظم المكعب هي متلازمة شهيرة، ولكنها غير معروفة نسبيًا، وتعرف بالعديد من الأسماء بما في ذلك التهاب الأعصاب الأخمصي الوحشي الجانبي، متلازمة صدع العظم المكعب، عظم المكعب الساقط، عظم المكعب الصلب غير المتحرك. - Das Cuboid-Syndrom beschreibt eine leichte Verletzung des Calcaneocuboidgelenks, also des Gelenks zwischen Fersenbein (Calcaneus) und Würfelbein (Cuboid), sowie der umgebenden Bänder. Es äußert sich oft in Form lateraler Fußschmerzen am Fußaußenspann und resultiert manchmal auch in allgemeiner Fußschwäche. Der Zustand tritt relativ häufig auf, ist aber nicht klar definiert und wird daher eher selten diagnostiziert. (de)

This condition often manifests in the form of lateral (little toe side) foot pain and sometimes general foot weakness. Cuboid syndrome, which is relatively common but not well defined or recognized, is known by many other names, including lateral plantar neuritis, cuboid fault syndrome, peroneal cuboid syndrome, dropped cuboid, locked cuboid and subluxed cuboid.
