- El Consell d'Estat de Luxemburg (en luxemburguès: Staatsrot, en francès: Conseil d'État, en alemany: Staatsrat) és una institució de Luxemburg que assessora la legislatura nacional, la Cambra de Diputats. Fins a l'1 de gener de 1997, també va ser el tribunal administratiu suprem del país, però aquesta funció va ser cedida a l'acabat de crear Tribunal Administratiu i d'apel·lació administrativa (en francès: tribunal administratif et Cour administrative en appel). El Consell d'Estat va ser creat pel rei-Gran Duc Guillem III al Cop d'Estat de 1856. Originàriament va ser completament nomenats els seus membres pel Gran Duc, però això va ser canviat el 1866, i, malgrat el retrocés de molts canvis provocats després del cop d'Estat, el Consell d'Estat s'ha mantingut. - The Council of State (Luxembourgish: Staatsrot, French: Conseil d'État, German: Staatsrat) is an institution in Luxembourg that advises the national legislature, the Chamber of Deputies. Until 1 January 1997, it was also the country's supreme administrative court, but this function was ceded to the newly created Administrative Tribunal and Administrative Court. The Council of State was created by King-Grand Duke William III in the Coup of 1856. It was originally entirely appointed by the Grand Duke, but this was changed in 1866, and, despite the roll-back of many changes brought about by the coup, the Council of State has otherwise remained. Alvorens een door de Kamer van Afgevaardigden aangenomen wetsartikel te ondertekenen legt hij dit voor aan de Raad van State. De leden worden aangewezen door de groothertog, maar voorgedragen door de regering en de Kamer. Het lidmaatschap van de Raad van State valt te combineren met andere werkzaamheden, maar niet met bijvoorbeeld het lidmaatschap van de regering, de Kamer en andere overheidsinstanties, hoge rechterlijke functies enz.
