- خِتَّير (الاسم العلمي: Cortinarius)، جنس فطور غثائية من فصيلة الختيريات. أنواعه المعروفة كثيرة تتجاوز 2000 نوع توجد في جميع أنحاء العالم. تعيش على المواد الدبالية والنباتية المنحلة. تتميز ببوغها النحاسي اللون وباغشيتها الدقيقة التي تتقلص مع تقادم العمر وتجتمع على السوق. أنواعه الجيدة الصنف المأكولة قليلة العدد والأخرى كاعنة غير مرغوب فيها. - Die Schleierlinge (Cortinarius) sind eine Gattung in der Familie der Schleierlingsverwandten. Der Gattungstypus ist der Dunkelviolette Schleierling (Cortinarius violaceus). Der wissenschaftliche Name Cortinarius leitet sich ab von lateinisch Cortina, was übersetzt „Schleier“ heißt. Bei letzterem handelt es sich um ein sehr feines, aus spinnwebartigen Fasern gebildetes Velum zwischen Hutrand und Stiel, weshalb die Gattung auch Haarschleierlinge genannt wird. Die Cortina ist ein charakteristisches Merkmal, kommt aber auch bei einigen anderen Gattungen vor. Früher war die Gattung der Schleierlinge die mit Abstand artenreichste Gattung der Champignonartigen. Aktuell wurde sie aber in 10 Gattungen aufgetrennt. Auch nach der Einengung der Gattung Cortinarius s. str. ist die Gattung sehr artenreich. (de)

A common feature among all species in the genus Cortinarius is that young specimens have a cortina (veil) between the cap and the stem, hence the name, meaning curtained. Most of the fibres of the cortina are ephemeral and will leave no trace once gone, except for limited remnants on the stem or cap edge in some species. All have a rusty brown spore print. The common names cortinar and webcap refer to members of the genus. Due to dangerous toxicity of several species (such as Cortinarius orellanus) and the fact that it is difficult to distinguish between various species of the genus, non-expert consumption of mushrooms from the genus is discouraged. Gray, 1821, è un genere a cui appartengono oltre 500 specie di funghi con taglia molto variabile, raggruppati in vari sottogeneri.Per la grande variabilità e la somiglianza dei funghi appartenenti a questo genere, spesso le differenze sono minime ed accertabili solo tramite le reazioni macrochimiche che, pertanto, assumono un ruolo determinante per l'identificazione di ogni singola specie.Questo genere annovera poche specie eduli mentre vi sono moltissime specie senza valore alimentare e molte specie velenose, più alcune specie mortali: pertanto il consumo di cortinari è sconsigliato a chiunque non li conosca in maniera approfondita. - Spindlingar eller spindelskivlingar (Cortinarius) är ett svampsläkte i familjen spindlingar, ordningen Agaricales, klassen Agaricomycetes, divisionen basidiesvampar, och riket svampar. Med sina cirka 2 000 arter är det troligen det artrikaste släktet bland skivlingarna. Tidigare betraktade man vissa av arterna som matsvampar. Då det finns flera giftiga arter, som kan orsaka njurskador och i vissa fall även döda människor, och då många spindlingar som tidigare ansetts ätliga har visat sig giftiga, har man numera omprövat släktets ätlighet och anser att alla spindlingar bör undvikas. Flera arter i släktet är färgrika och har därför använts i färgningssyfte av garn och dylikt. Säregna dofter har gett namn åt en del arter, däribland anisspindling, , blå lökspindling och . (sv)
