- The COMX-35 was a home computer that was one of the very few systems to use the RCA 1802 microprocessor, the same microprocessor that is also used in some space probes. The COMX-35 had a keyboard with an integrated joystick in place of cursor keys. It was relatively inexpensive and came with a large collection of software. COMX-35 was manufactured in Hong Kong by COMX World Operations Ltd and was released in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden, New Zealand, Australia, Finland, Norway, Italy, Singapore, Turkey and the People's Republic of China. - De COMX-35 is een homecomputer uit 1983 die werd ontworpen en geproduceerd in Hongkong door COMX World Operations Ltd. De COMX-35 maakt als van de weinige gebruik van de RCA 1802-microprocessor, dezelfde microprocessor die ook werd gebruikt in sommige ruimtesondes. Al vanaf de uitgave was de 1802 ook verkrijgbaar in silicium op saffier-halfgeleider-technologie, waardoor hij een zekere mate van weerstand bood tegen straling en elektrostatische ontlading. De COMX-35 had een toetsenbord met een geïntegreerde joystick in plaats van de pijltjestoetsen. De computer was relatief goedkoop en kwam met een grote collectie software, die door de Nederlandse importeur gratis ter beschikking werd gesteld. De computer heeft een intern geheugen van 35 kB RAM waarvan 32 kB benut kon worden door de gebruiker. (nl)
