- Die Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) ist ein gemeinschaftliches wissenschaftliches Forschungsprojekt weltweit angesiedelter, nationaler Wahlstudien und Wahlforschungsteams. Wissenschaftler aus teilnehmenden Ländern integrieren ein gemeinsames Forschungsmodul in ihre nationalen Nachwahlbefragungen. Die so erhobenen Befragungsdaten werden zusammen mit demographischen Angaben, Variablen zur Wahlentscheidung sowie Daten auf Wahlbezirks- und Länderebene in einem Datensatz zusammengebracht, der vergleichende Wahlforschung mit Mehrebenenperspektive ermöglicht. CSES-Daten werden der Öffentlichkeit kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Forschungsprojekt wird vom CSES-Sekretariat, einer Kooperation zwischen dem Center for Political Studies der University of Michigan und dem GESIS – Leibniz-Institut für Sozialwissenschaften erstellt. - The Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) is a collaborative research project among national election studies around the world. Participating countries and polities include a common module of survey questions in their national post-election studies. The resulting data are collated together along with voting, demographic, district and macro variables into one dataset allowing comparative analysis of voting behavior from a multilevel perspective. The CSES is published as a free, public dataset. The project is administered by the CSES Secretariat, a joint effort between the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan and the GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences in Germany. - Le Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) (Comparative Study of Electoral Systems – CSES) est un projet scientifique commun aux enquêtes électorales nationales basées partout dans le monde. Les scientifiques des pays participants intègrent un module de questions du projet dans leurs enquêtes postélectorales. Les données qui en découlent sont fusionnées dans des bases comprenant réponses aux questions posées, les informations démographiques décrivant les répondants, les résultats électoraux et les variables de niveau de circonscription électorale, ainsi que de niveau national (macro). Ceci permet une analyse comparative du comportement électoral dans une perspective multiniveau. CSES est accessible gratuitement au public. Il est géré par le secrétariat du CSES, une coopération entre le Centre d’études politiques de l’Université du Michigan l’Université du Michigan et GESIS – Institut Leibniz pour les Sciences Sociales.
