- Coat of arms of Klaipėda is the coat of arms of the city of Klaipėda, Lithuania. It is used as coat of arms of Klaipėda city municipality. The modern rendition was designed by the designer . The modern coat of arms was created by restoring old seals of the city of Memel (analogous with those used in the years 1446, 1605 and 1618; Memel is the German name for the city (Mimmelsburg), used when it belonged to the Kingdom of Prussia). It was affirmed on July 1, 1992. The charges are a stone castle with a boat beneath it on a gules field, with four stars around the towers of the stone castle. They have been rendered somewhat differently through the years but always in line with the blazon. The flag of the city depicts the coat of arms upon a square cloth vertically parted in the colours of the arms. (en)
- De vlag van Klaipėda, een district van Litouwen, bestaat net als alle negen andere Litouwse districtsvlaggen uit een egaal veld met daarin een regionaal symbool, omringd door een blauwe rand met daarin tien gouden Vytiskruizen. De kruizen verwijzen naar de tien Litouwse districten en hun positie binnen Litouwen. De vlag is, net als alle andere districtsvlaggen, vastgelegd door de Heraldische Commissie van het Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken; dit gebeurde in 2004. Het regionale embleem in het midden van de vlag verwijst naar het wapen van de districtshoofdstad Klaipėda, dat hier links staat afgebeeld. Tussen 1920 en 1923 stond het gebied rondom Klaipėda (destijds Memelland genoemd) onder toezicht van de Volkenbond, waarna het gebied tot 1939 een autonoom gebied binnen Litouwen ging vormen. In 1939 werd het Memelland bij nazi-Duitsland gevoegd. Vanaf 1920 gebruikte het gebied een vlag die uit twee even hoge horizontale banen in de kleurencombinatie geel-rood bestond, met linksbovenin in een zwart omrande rode cirkel het centrale element uit het stadswapen van Klaipėda.
