Choristoneura obsoletana is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found in the United States, where it has been recorded from Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. The wingspan is 21–24 mm. Adults have been recorded on wing from April to December.
