- 최만리(崔萬理, ? ~ 1445년 10월 23일)는 조선 전기의 문신, 정치인, 유학자이자 철학자, 법학자이다. 조선시대의 청백리로 꼽히는 인물이다. 오랫동안 집현전에 몸을 담고 고제(古制) 연구 및 적용에 주력했으며 집현전 부제학, 강원도관찰사 등을 역임하였다. 1444년 2월 20일 한글 창제에 대한 반대상소(합소, 연명상소)를 올렸던 여러 대신들 중에 대표적 인물이며, 지나친 반발로 세종의 노여움을 사 의금부에 갇히기도 했다. 시호는 공혜(恭惠)이다. (ko)
