- ميثاق جامعة الدول العربية هي معاهدة تأسيس جامعة الدول العربية. أبرم الاتفاق في عام 1945 الذي يؤيد مبدأ اقامة وطن عربي مع احترام سيادة الدول الأعضاء. تم الاتفاق على اللائحة الداخلية لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية واللجان في أكتوبر 1951. وافقوا على الأمانة العامة في مايو 1953. منذ ذلك الحين استند الحكم في جامعة الدول العربية حول ازدواج المؤسسات فوق الوطنية وسيادة الدول الأعضاء. الحفاظ على الدولة الفردية تستمد قوتها من التفضيل الطبيعي من النخب الحاكمة للحفاظ على قوتهم والاستقلال في اتخاذ القرارات. علاوة على ذلك فإن خوف الدول الغنية من مشاركة ثرواتها من قبل الدول الفقيرة باسم القومية العربية يمكن أن يؤدي إلى خلافات بين الحكام العرب وتأثير القوى الخارجية التي قد تعارض الوحدة العربية نحو تكامل أعمق. - The Charter of the Arab League (also known as the Pact of the League of Arab States) is the founding treaty of the Arab League. Concluded in 1945, the agreement endorses the principle of an Arab homeland while respecting the sovereignty of the individual member states. The internal regulations of the Council of the Arab League and the committees were agreed to in October 1951. Those of the Secretary-General were agreed to in May 1953. Since then, governance of the Arab League has been based on the duality of supra-national institutions and the sovereignty of its member states. Preservation of individual statehood derived its strengths from the natural preference of ruling elites to maintain their power and independence in decision making. Moreover, the fear of the richer that the poorer may share their wealth in the name of Arab nationalism, the feuds among Arab rulers, and the influence of external powers that might oppose Arab unity can be seen as obstacles towards a deeper integration of the league.
