- Fond solidarity COVID-19 je globální fond pro podporu práce Světové zdravotnické organizace (WHO) při boji s pandemií covidu-19. Byl založen 13. března 2020 generálním ředitelem WHO v Ženevě, ve Švýcarsku. Účelem fondu je „podpora práce WHO při sledování a snaze o porozumění šíření viru; zajištění potřebné péče pro pacienty a základních potřeb a informací pro pracovníky první linie; a urychlení úsilí o vývoj vakcíny, testování a léčbu“. Významné společnosti, včetně takových jako Facebook, H&M a Google, i řada soukromých osob již poskytly fondu finanční podporu. UNICEF se k Fondu solidarity COVID-19 přidal 3. dubna 2020 také. Podle odhadů WHO finanční požadavky fondu na boj s pandemií dosáhnou do konce roku 2020 zhruba 1,7 miliardy amerických dolarů. K 15. květnu 2020 byla tato částka pokryta z 36,2 % (624,5 milionu amerických dolarů). (cs)
- صندوق الاستجابة للتضامن من أجل مكافحة فيروس كورونا هو صندوق عالمي لدعم عمل منظمة الصحة العالمية في احتواء وباء فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19) 2019-2020. تم إطلاق البرنامج من قبل المدير العام لمنظمة الصحة العالمية بتاريخ 13 آذار/مارس 2020 في جنيف، سويسرا. لتمكين الأفراد والمنظمات من المساهمة في الجهود التي تقوم بها المنظمة في سبيل تنسيق الجهود العالمية، ودعم البلدان لكبح جماح هذا الوباء والاستجابة له. يتمثّل الغرض الرئيس من إنشاء هذا الصندوق في «دعم عمل منظمة الصحة العالمية لتتبع وفهم آلية انتشار الفيروس؛ وكذلك ضمان حصول المرضى على الرعاية التي يحتاجونها وحصول العاملين في الخطوط الأمامية على الإمدادات والمعلومات الأساسية؛ وتسريع الجهود لتطوير اللقاحات والاختبارات والعلاجات.» وقد قامت شركات كبرى بالتبرع لصالح ذلك الصندوق، بما في ذلك شركة فيسبوك وإتش أند إم وجوجل، بالإضافة إلى العديد من الأفراد. - El fons de resposta solidària COVID-19 és un fons global per donar suport a la tasca de l'Organització Mundial de la Salut en la contenció de la pandèmia per coronavirus de 2019-2020. Va ser llançat el 13 de març de 2020 pel director general de l'OMS a Ginebra, Suïssa. El fons de resposta té com a objectiu "donar suport a la tasca de l'OMS per rastrejar i entendre la propagació del virus; garantir que els pacients rebin l'atenció que necessiten i els treballadors de primera línia rebin subministraments i informació essencials, i accelerar els esforços per desenvolupar vacunes, proves i tractaments". Grans empreses, com Facebook, H&M i Google, han fet donacions al Fons de resposta solidària, com també ho han fet diverses persones a nivell personal. (ca)
- COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund was a global fund for supporting the work of the World Health Organization (WHO) in containing the COVID-19 pandemic. It was launched on 13 March 2020 by the United Nations Foundation and the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation in support of WHO, and was announced by the Director-General of WHO in Geneva, Switzerland. The fund ceased its active fundraising activities at the end of 2021, with further donations to be directed to the . The purpose of the response fund was to "support WHO's work, including with partners, to track and understand the spread of the virus; to ensure patients get the care they need and frontline workers get essential supplies and information; and to accelerate research and development of a vaccine and treatments for all who need them." Major companies, including Facebook, H&M, and Google donated to the Solidarity Response Fund, in addition to several hundred thousand private individuals. In the following months, several additional beneficiaries of the fund were added in order to work together with WHO on the COVID-19 pandemic response. This includes UNICEF, CEPI (the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations), WFP (the World Food Programme), UNHCR (the UN Refugee Agency), and UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East). According to WHO's estimations, the requirement to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic until the end of 2020 was US$1.7 billion. As of 7 December 2020, 87.6% (US$1.52 b) of required amount had been collected. (en)
- Der Solidaritätsfonds zur Bekämpfung von COVID-19 (englisch COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund) ist ein von der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO), der UN-Stiftung, der Schweizer Philanthropie-Stiftung und ihren Partnern aufgelegter globaler Fonds zur Unterstützung der Arbeit der WHO bei der Eindämmung der COVID-19-Pandemie. Der Fonds wurde am 13. März 2020 vom Generaldirektor der WHO in Genf ins Leben gerufen.
