Używane też jako określenie zamku, zwłaszcza takiego, którego architektura budzi ponure skojarzenia. Terminem takim określano też skały przypominające wyglądem ruiny, jak np. skałę Zamczysko w Dolinie Będkowskiej, przez taterników nazwaną Dupą Słonia. (pl)
