- Pacibulka (bulbillus) je útvar, která vzniká ztloustnutím šupiny pupenu a z pupenu tak vzniká vejčitý až kulovitý útvar sloužící k vegetativnímu rozmnožování. Po opadu či výsevem pacibulky z ní vyroste nová rostlina. Pacibulky se liší podle umístění, pacibulka bazální vzniká v úžlabí bazálních listů, pacibulka kořenová na kořenech, pacibulka úžlabní v paždí lodyžních listů-např. kyčelnice cibulkonosná (Dentaria bulbifera) nebo lilie cibulkonosná (Lilium bulbiferum), pacibulka v květenství-typická pro některé česneky, např. česnek ořešec (Allium scorodoprassum).

- A bulbil (also referred to as bulbel, bulblet, and/or pup) is a small, young plant that is reproduced vegetatively from axillary buds on the parent plant's stem or in place of a flower on an inflorescence. These young plants are clones of the parent plant that produced them—they have identical genetic material. The formation of bulbils is a form of asexual reproduction, as they can eventually go on to form new stand-alone plants. Although some bulbils meet the botanical criterion to be considered a true bulb, there are a variety of different morphological forms of bulbils, some of which are not considered to be bulbs. Hence the reason for distinction between bulbs and bulbils. For example, some bulbous plant groups, like onions and lilies, produce bulbils in the form of a secondary, small bulb. Onion and lily bulbils meet the botanical criterion to be labeled a true bulb. All bulbils produced by bulbous plants are to be considered bulbs, but not all bulbils are to be considered bulbs. - Een broedbol of bulbil is botanisch gezien een bol en wordt in de bloeiwijze van sommige planten, zoals de sint-jansui en het moeslook gevormd en is een vorm van valse viviparie. Het is tevens een vorm van vegetatieve vermeerdering. Broedbolletjes kunnen ook ontstaan langs de stengel, zoals bij de knolduizendknoop of langs de bolschijf van de ouderbol, zoals bij de akkergeelster. In dit laatste geval wordt in de bloembollenteelt van een klister gesproken. Bij de vermeerdering van bloembollen wordt verklistering vaak kunstmatig opgewekt door een temperatuurbehandeling of door de bol een kruis te snijden of de onderkant uit te hollen. Kruisen en uithollen wordt onder andere bij de hyacint gedaan. Plantensoorten met valse viviparie vormen vaak geen of weinig zaad. Po dojrzeniu bulwki odpadają od rośliny macierzystej i mogą się w sprzyjających warunkach ukorzenić. Bulwki są stosunkowo częste u roślin wysokogórskich i arktycznych, żyjących w miejscach o krótkim okresie wegetacyjnym, gdzie nie zawsze roślina zdąży wytworzyć nasiona oraz u roślin rosnących w bardzo dużym zacienieniu.
