- Die Bromsgrove Guild of Applied Arts (The Bromsgrove Guild of Craftsman) war eine Gesellschaft moderner Künstler und Designer, die mit dem Arts and Crafts Movement in Verbindung standen. Die „Gilde“ wurde von gegründet und bestand von 1898 bis 1966. Sie ist nach der Stadt Bromsgrove in Worcestershire benannt. Die Mitglieder fertigten Arbeiten in Metall, Holz, Gips, Bronze, Teppichen, Glas und anderen Werkstoffen. 1908 erhielt die Gilde eine Royal Warrant (Ernennung als Hoflieferant). Die bekannteste Arbeit sind die Haupttore des Buckingham Palace und das . Beide Arbeiten sind Teil von Sir Aston Webbs Memorial Scheme (Gedächtnis-Anlage) für Königin Victoria. The guild worked in metal, wood, plaster, bronze, tapestry, glass and other mediums. The Guild received a Royal Warrant in 1908. The Guild's most famous works on public display are the main gates of Buckingham Palace and the Canada Gate both part of Sir Aston Webb's memorial scheme to Queen Victoria. Unlike many other Arts & Crafts companies that faded away after a few decades, for instance the William Morris company, the Bromsgrove Guild survived until the early 1960s. (en)
