Boița (German: Ochsendorf; Hungarian: Bojca; Latin: Caput Stenarum) is a commune in Sibiu County, Transylvania, Romania, at the foothills of the Cindrel Mountains, 22 km (14 mi) south of the county capital Sibiu, in the Mărginimea Sibiului ethnographic area, on the main road between Sibiu and the southern part of Romania, the National road 7/European route 81, at the entrance of the Olt River defile. The commune is composed of four villages: Boița, Lazaret, Lotrioara (Latorvár) and Paltin. These were part of Tălmaciu town until 2004, when they were split off.

Scavi archeologici hanno rinvenuto sul territorio del comune i resti di un insediamento romano chiamato Caput Stenarum ed un castrum della Legio XIII Gemina. I principali monumenti del comune sono: * Il Castello Turnu Roșu, la cui esistenza risulta per la prima volta in un documento del 1453; le principali fortificazioni tuttora visibili sono due torri, la prima, quadrangolare e con lati di 14 m., è su quattro livelli e dotata di feritoie, la seconda, esagonale e con lati di 7 m., venne costruita successivamente, verso la fine del XV secolo * La chiesa ortodossa dell'Assunzione di Maria (Adormirea Maicii Domnului), a navata singola, con pronao, navata singola e cupola a tamburo, costruita tra il 1813 e il 1822.
