- Der sogenannte Blonde Kopf von der Akropolis ist der Kopf einer Jünglingsstatue oder eines Epheben aus Marmor und befindet sich im Akropolis-Museum in Athen (Inv. 689). Er wurde nordöstlich des Akropolismuseums im sog. Perserschutt gefunden. Die Höhe des Kopfes in Achse der Nase beträgt 25 cm, Breite unterhalb der Ohrläppchen 12,5 cm. Tiefe Kinn bis zum Loch im Wirbel 22,8 cm (siehe Schrader, S. 197). Diese um 480 v. Chr. geschaffene Skulptur könnte vielleicht von einem Lehrer des Phidias stammen. Diese wiederum waren der Athener Hegias sowie Hageladas von Argos. Die ursprüngliche blonde Färbung des gelockten Haares ist verblasst. Lediglich Farbreste auf der Oberfläche sind erhalten. Die Haare weisen beinahe noch stärker auf die Archaik hin, als es bei dem etwa zeitgleichen, dem Strengen Stil zuzuordnenden sogenannten Kritios-Knaben der Fall ist.

- The so-called Blond Kouros's Head of the Acropolis is the head of a lost marble statue of a young man (Kouros or Ephebe sculpture type) of ca 480 BC, in the Acropolis Museum in Athens, Greece The head and part of the pelvis were found in 1923 northeast of the museum site on the Acropolis of Athens. It belongs to the late archaic or early classical period (Severe style). The curly hair points more to the Archaic than the Classical period. It measures 25 cm in the vertical, in the horizontal under the ears 12.5 cm and in the depth 22.8 cm. (Schrader 1939:197). This sculpture could have been created by one of the teachers of Phidias, Hegias of Athens or Ageladas of Argos. The original blond painting of the curly hair is faded. - Blondynek – fragmentarycznie zachowana marmurowa rzeźba grecka z okresu archaicznego. Znajduje się w zbiorach Muzeum Akropolu w Atenach. Rzeźba wykonana została z marmuru paryjskiego. Tradycyjnie datowana jest na około 490–480 p.n.e. i może pochodzić sprzed zniszczenia Akropolu przez Persów, chociaż część badaczy sugeruje datację młodszą o około 10 lat. Zachowały się jedynie głowa i biodra posągu. Głowę odnaleziono w północnej części ateńskiego Akropolu w 1887 roku, w trakcie prac archeologicznych prowadzonych przez Panajotisa Kawadiasa. Dolny fragment rzeźby odkopano w 1896 roku. Cechująca się wysokimi walorami artystycznymi głowa posągu mierzy 0,245 m wysokości i przedstawia oblicze młodzieńca. Blondynek lekko opuszcza i przechyla w bok głowę, a na jego licu widoczny jest nastrój melancholijnego zamyślenia. Na włosach zachowały się ślady żółtej farby, którym rzeźba zawdzięcza swoją nazwę. Zgodnie z hipotezą wysuniętą przez Evelyn Byrd Harrison Blondynek jest przedstawieniem Tezeusza lub Apolla. Adolf Furtwängler autorstwo rzeźby przypisywał Hegiasowi. Na podstawie podobieństw stylistycznych uznaje się ją za dzieło artysty, który wykonał także Korę nadąsaną. (pl)
