- The Bladder pipe (German: Platerspiel or Blaterpfeife) is a medieval simplified bagpipe, consisting of an insufflation tube (blow pipe), a bladder (bag) and a chanter; sounded by a double reed, which is fitted into a reed seat at the top of the chanter. The reed, inside the inflated bladder, is sounded continuously, and cannot be tongued. Some bladder pipes were made with a single drone pipe, and reproductions are similar to a loud, continuous crumhorn. The chanter has an outside tenon, at the top, near the reed, which fits into a socket or stock, which is then tied into the bladder. (en)
- Das Platerspiel oder die Blaterpfeife ist eine mittelalterliche vereinfachte Form der Sackpfeife, bestehend aus dem Anblasrohr, dem Luftsack und einer Spielpfeife. Die Tonerzeugung erfolgt mittels Einfach- oder Doppelrohrblatt, das sich am oberen Ende der Spielpfeife befindet. Die Spielpfeife wird mit einer Zapfenverbindung nahe dem Rohrblatt in eine entsprechende Fassung unmittelbar am Luftsack eingefügt. Das Platerspiel ist auch heute noch ein eigenständiges Musikinstrument für die Aufführung mittelalterlicher Musik. (de)
- La platerspiel es una gaita medieval sencilla, que consta de un tubo de insuflación (tubo de soplado), una vejiga (bolsa) y un ; sonaba mediante una lengüeta doble, que se ajusta en un asiento de lengüeta en la parte superior del punteiro. La lengüeta, dentro de la vejiga inflada, suena continuamente, y no se puede tocar con la lengua. El punteiro tiene una espiga exterior, en la parte superior, cerca de la lengüeta, dentro de un casquillo o reserva, que se conecta a la vejiga. (es)
