- Batuka ονομάζεται το τραγούδι της Αμερικανίδας καλλιτέχνιδας Μαντόνα από το δέκατο-τέταρτο στούντιο άλμπουμ της, Madame X (2019). Γράφτηκε και παράχθηκε από την ίδια, μαζί με τον μακροχρόνιο συνεργάτη της Mirwais, κσι τον γιο της David Banda να συμμετέχει στην συγγραφή επίσης. Το τραγούδι περιλαμβάνει πίσω φωνητικά των Batukadeiras, μιας ορχήστρας από το Πράσινο Ακρωτήριο, αποτελούμενη μόνο από μαύρες γυναίκες που παίζουν ντραμς στο κομμάτι. - They weren't used to singing into microphones so there was a comical aspect to it. We realized we had to record things separately because I was singing in 4/4 time, and they were playing their txabeta triplet time. In any case, for me it was an amazing experience because they were so open to anything I suggested and to collaborating. They brought their fire and their passion. (en)
