- Bachelor of Theology je titul bakalářského stupně (B.Th., BTh, ThB nebo BTheol), který je studentovi udělen po třech až pěti letech studia teologických oborů vysoké školy. Kandidáti na tento titul obvykle musí absolvovat kurzovou práci v řečtině nebo hebrejštině, stejně jako i systematickou teologii, biblickou teologii, etiku, homiletiku, hermeneutiku a křesťanskou službu. Není tedy vyžadováno vypracování a obhajoba bakalářské práce, ale studium je často o rok delší než bakalář náboženské výchovy nebo bakalář umění. V některých označeních, zejména v Anglii, se považuje za dostačující pro formální vysvěcení. V některých školách je BTh tříletý titul pro dospělé studenty provádějící vysvěcení, kteří nemají titul a bylo u nich upuštěno od požadavku na Mistra božství. (cs)

It does not require a thesis but is often a year longer than the courses for the degrees of Bachelor of Religious Education and Bachelor of Arts. In some denominations, notably the Church of England, it is considered sufficient qualification for formal ordination. In some schools, the B.Th. is a three-year degree for mature students pursuing ordination, who do not hold another degree and for whom the requirement to hold a Master of Divinity degree has been waived. Der Grad Bachelor of Theology kann aufgrund dieser Vorgaben nur in einem weiterbildenden Studiengang vergeben werden. An den B.Th. kann in der Regel ein Master of Theology angeschlossen werden. Je nach Qualifikation und belegten Kursen kann an staatlichen Hochschulen auch ein Master of Arts angeschlossen werden. Mindestqualifikationen für einen theologischen Master of Arts sind etwa das kirchliche oder das staatliche Hebraicum, das universitäre Hebraicum reicht in der Regel nicht aus. (de)
- Bachelor of Theology (Nederlandse afkorting BTh, internationale afkorting BTh, B.Th., Th.B. of BTheol) is een hbo-bachelorgraad in Nederland in kader van het Bachelor-Masterstelsel. De internationaal herkenbare graad geeft aan dat men een opleiding heeft afgerond aan een hogeschool in de richting van pastoraat of geestelijke verzorging. Studenten houden zich tijdens de opleiding onder andere bezig met: bijbelwetenschap, systematische theologie, geschiedenis van het christendom, ethiek, filosofie, godsdienstwetenschappen, sociale wetenschappen en de praktijk van het pastoraat of geestelijke verzorging. De hbo-bacheloropleidingen (ook wel Professional bacheloropleidingen genoemd) dienen te voldoen aan dezelfde niveau- en kwaliteitseisen als de WO-bacheloropleidingen, zoals deze zijn geformuleerd in het beoordelingskader en de Dublin Descriptoren (NVAO, 2003).
