- الخطوط الإبطية وهي الخط الإبطي الأمامي، وخط منتصف الإبط، والخط الإبطي الخلفي. الخط الإبطي الأمامي هو خطٌ إكليلي على الجذع الأمامي، وتُميزهُ الطية الإبطية الأمامية، وهو خطٌ تخيلي يسير إلى الأسفل من نقطة المنتصف بين الترقوة والنهاية الوحشية (الجانبية) للترقوة. في تخطيط كهربائية القلب، يُوضع V5 على الخط الإبطي الأمامي أفقيًا مع V4. خط منتصف الإبط هو خطٌ إكليلي على الجذع بين الخطوط الإبطية الأمامية والخلفية. يُعتبر علامةً مُميزة تستعمل في بزل الصدر، كما يوضع عليه V9 وV10 ي تخطيط كهربائية القلب. الخط الإبطي الخلفي هو خطٌ إكليلي على الجذع الخلفي، وتُميزهُ الطية الإبطية الخلفية. - Die Axillarlinien (lat. līneae axillares) sind gedachte Linien entlang des Oberkörpers senkrecht ausgehend von bestimmten Punkten der Achselhöhle. Es gibt rechts und links jeweils drei Axillarlinien:
* vordere Axillarlinie (Linea axillaris anterior): verläuft senkrecht vom höchsten Punkt der vorderen Achselfalte, welche durch den Musculus pectoralis major gebildet wird, nach unten
* mittlere Axillarlinie (Linea axillaris media): verläuft senkrecht vom höchsten Punkt der Achselhöhle bzw. Mitte der Achselhöhle aus nach unten
* hintere Axillarlinie (Linea axillaris posterior): verläuft vom höchsten Punkt der hinteren Achselfalte, welche durch den Musculus latissimus dorsi und den Musculus teres major gebildet wird, senkrecht nach unten (de)
- The axillary lines are the anterior axillary line, midaxillary line and the posterior axillary line. The anterior axillary line is a coronal line on the anterior torso marked by the anterior axillary fold. It's the imaginary line that runs down from the point midway between the middle of the clavicle and the lateral end of the clavicle. The V5 ECG lead is placed on the anterior axillary line, horizontally even with V4. The midaxillary line is a coronal line on the torso between the anterior and posterior axillary lines. It is a landmark used in thoracentesis, and the V6 electrode of the 10 electrode ECG. The posterior axillary line is a coronal line on the posterior torso marked by the posterior axillary fold. (en)
