- The August Novelization (Polish: Nowela sierpniowa) of 2 August 1926 was a set of amendments to the 1921 March Constitution of Poland. These amendments were proposed and adopted by national plebiscite after Józef Piłsudski took power in the May Coup. There were four main clauses in the amendments.
* The President may dismiss the Sejm (parliament) and the Senate.
* The President may issue acts (rozporządzenia) having statutory power with the approval of the Sejm.
* The Sejm may not dissolve itself.
* If the Sejm cannot agree on the state budget, the budget may be passed by the government. (en)
- Il Rinnovamento di Agosto (in polacco: Nowela sierpniowa) del 2 agosto 1926 si riferisce ai cambiamenti (emendamenti costituzionali) apportati alla Costituzione di Marzo del 1921. Fu votata dopo il colpo di stato di Józef Piłsudski ed assegnò al Presidente:
* il potere di sciogliere il Sejm e il Senato della Polonia (le due camere del Parlamento);
* il diritto ad emettere leggi (rozporządzenia)
* togliere il potere al Sejm per scioglierlo;
* dichiarare che se il Sejm non riusciva ad accordarsi sul bilancio, questo poteva essere approvato dal governo. (it)
- Nowela sierpniowa – ustawa z dnia 2 sierpnia 1926 o zmianie Konstytucji z 17 marca 1921, ogłoszona i obowiązująca od 4 sierpnia 1926. Przyjęta nowela wzmacniała przede wszystkim pozycję prezydenta. Przyznała mu prawo do rozwiązania parlamentu oraz prawo do wydawania rozporządzeń z mocą ustawy. (pl)
- A Alteração de Agosto (Polonês: Nowela sierpniowa) de 2 de Agosto de 1926 foi um conjunto de emendas constitucionais para a Constituição de Março de 1921. Estas emendas foram propostas e adotadas pelo plebiscito nacional depois que Józef Piłsudski tomou o poder com o golpe de Maio. Havia quatro principais cláusulas nas emendas.
* O Presidente pode destituir o Sejm (Parlamento) e o Senado;
* O Presidente pode emitir atos (rozporządzenia) com o poder legal quando aprovado no Sejm;
* O Sejm não pode se dissolver;
