- Der Anagyrus-Maler war ein Vasenmaler des frühen attisch-schwarzfigurigen Stils im 1. Viertel des 6. Jahrhunderts v. Chr. Die Werke des Anagyrus-Malers wurden nur im attischen Binnenland, vor allem in (in der Antike Anagyros, daher der Notname) gefunden, bisher nicht in Athen selbst. Es wird daher vermutet, dass er nicht in Athen tätig war und nur einen begrenzten Raum belieferte. Anders als zahlreiche andere attische Vertreter der schwarzfigurigen Vasenmalerei bemalte er keine Lekaniden, sondern andere Gefäßformen wie Amphoren, Kantharoi, Kelche, Oinochoen und Teller. (de)
- The Anagyros Painter or Anagyrus Painter was a vase painter of the early Attic black-figure style, active in the first quarter of the 6th century BC. His works have only been found in inland Attica, mainly at Vari (ancient Anagyros, which is the base of his conventional name), but not in Athens itself. It is thus assumed that he was not active within the city and only produced for a very limited rural area. In contrast to many of his contemporaries, he did not paint but various large formats, such as amphorae, kantharoi, chalices, oinochoai and plates. (en)
- Como Pintor de Anagirunte se conoce a quien pintó varias vasijas griegas de cerámica de figuras negras en el siglo VI a. C. Sus obras se han encontrado en la actual región ateniense de Vari, antes Anagirunte, pero no en la parte cardinal de Atenas, por eso se asume que su actividad estaría en esa área. Además de vasijas, también pintó platos u obras de gran formato como ánforas o enócoes. (es)
