- The ATP Itaparica Open is a defunct men's tennis tournament that was part of the Grand Prix tennis circuit from 1986 to 1989 and the ATP Tour in 1990. The event was held in Itaparica, Brazil and was played on outdoor hard courts at Club Med Itaparica. One Brazilian reached the final, Luiz Mattar in 1987, when he was beaten by Andre Agassi. It was Agassi's first win on the main ATP Tour. In 1990, Mats Wilander won his final career tournament here. In 1991 the tournament was replaced by the ATP São Paulo. (en)
- Das ATP-Turnier von Itaparica (offiziell Sul America Open, zuletzt Citibank Open) war ein Herrentennisturnier, das 1982 und dann von 1986 bis 1990 auf der brasilianischen Insel Itaparica ausgetragen wurde. Gespielt wurde jeweils auf Outdoor-Hartplätzen. Das Turnier lief zuletzt im Rahmen der ATP World Series, der Vorgängerserie der ATP World Tour 250. 1991 wurde das Turnier im Tourkalender durch die Banespa Open in São Paulo ersetzt. Nur im Doppel konnten einheimische Spieler das Turnier gewinnen (1982 & sowie 1990 & ). Im Einzel erreichte mit Luiz Mattar zwar einmal ein Brasilianer das Finale, er scheiterte jedoch am jungen Andre Agassi; es war der erste Titel seiner langen Profikarriere. Mats Wilander gewann auf Itaparica sein letztes Turnier auf der ATP Tour. Im Einzel konnte kein Spieler das Turnier mehr als einmal gewinnen, im Doppel sind Sergio Casal und Emilio Sánchez mit zwei Siegen Rekordtitelträger. (de)
