- The 2022 UCI Africa Tour was the 18th season of the UCI Africa Tour. The season began on 29 October 2021 with the Tour du Faso and ended on 8 October 2022. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wears the UCI Africa Tour cycling jersey. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers: the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded.The UCI ratings from highest to lowest are as follows:
* Multi-day events: 2.1 and 2.2
* One-day events: 1.1 and 1.2 (en)

Se inicia el 20 de febrero de 2022 en Ruanda, con el Tour de Ruanda y finalizará el 26 de julio de 2022 con la Campeonato Africano de Ciclismo en Ruta en Angola. En principio, se disputarían 9 competencias, otorgando puntos a los primeros clasificados de las etapas y a la clasificación final, aunque el calendario puede sufrir modificaciones a lo largo de la temporada con la inclusión de nuevas carreras o exclusión de otras. Seria UCI Africa Tour, podobnie jak pozostałe (UCI America Tour, UCI Asia Tour, UCI Europe Tour, UCI Oceania Tour), powstała w jako zaplecze dla utworzonego w tym samym czasie UCI ProTour (później przekształconego w UCI World Tour). W 2020 odbyła się pierwsza edycja cyklu UCI ProSeries utworzonego jako drugi poziom wyścigów z kalendarza UCI, w związku z czym UCI Africa Tour, podobnie jak pozostałe cykle kontynentalne, od sezonu 2020 stała się trzecim poziomem zmagań w kalendarzu UCI. Cykl UCI Africa Tour w sezonie 2022 objął ostatecznie cztery wyścigi (wszystkie wieloetapowe), rozgrywane między 29 października 2021 a 12 czerwca 2022, a większość z kilkunastu początkowo planowanych w kalendarzu zawodów cyklu zostało odwołanych.
