- The 2021 Super Rugby Aotearoa season (branded as Sky Super Rugby Aotearoa for sponsorship reasons) was a professional club rugby union tournament organised by New Zealand Rugby. Announced on 11 November 2020, the tournament was the second season of Super Rugby Aotearoa, featuring the 5 New Zealand Super Rugby sides, ran from 26 February to 8 May 2021. The tournament was won by the Crusaders, who defeated the Chiefs 24–13 in the final at Orangetheory Stadium, earning them their second consecutive Super Rugby Aotearoa title, and fifth straight Super Rugby competition title. The tournament ran parallel to Australia's 2021 Super Rugby AU season, and Super Rugby Trans-Tasman followed the conclusion of both seasons, a crossover tournament featuring each Australian team playing each New Zealand team once, followed by a final. - Il Super Rugby Aotearoa 2020 fu la 2ª edizione del Super Rugby Aotearoa nonché spin-off neozelandese della 26ª edizione del Super Rugby SANZAAR. Si tenne dal 26 febbraio 2021 all’8 maggio 2021 tra 5 squadre che si affrontarono con la formula della stagione regolare in gare d'andata e ritorno e gara di finale tra le migliori due classificate. La finale si tenne al Rugby League Park di Christchurch tra i Crusaders, squadra di casa, che affrontò i Chiefs della regione di Waikato; furono i primi ad aggiudicarsi la competizione, per la seconda volta consecutiva. Per ragioni di sponsorizzazione il torneo fu noto anche con il nome di Sky Super Rugby Aotearoa 2021. Il torneo si tenne in parallelo all'australiano Super Rugby AU 2021; al termine di entrambe le competizioni si tenne il Super Rugby Trans-Tasman, un torneo in cui ogni squadra neozelandese disputò un incontro singolo contro ogni squadra australiana, con finale tra le due squadre meglio piazzate nella classifica finale di ciascuno dei due Paesi.
