- Εκλογές διεξήχθησαν στο κρατίδιο της Βρέμης στις 26 Μαΐου 2019. Εξελέγησαν τα μέλη της βουλής της πόλης (Bremische Stadtbürgerschaft και Stadtverordnetenversammlung Bremerhaven) και του κρατιδίου (Bürgerschaft). Η ημερομηνία των εκλογών συνέπεσε με εκείνη των ευρωεκλογών. Δικαίωμα ψήφου στις εκλογές είχαν όλοι οι Γερμανοί που είχαν ζήσει στη Βρέμη τουλάχιστον 3 μήνες πριν τη διεξαγωγή των εκλογών. - The 2019 Bremen state election was held on 26 May 2019 to elect the members of the Bürgerschaft of Bremen, as well as the city councils of Bremen and Bremerhaven. The election took place on the same day as the 2019 European Parliament election. The opposition Christian Democratic Union (CDU) became the largest party in the Bürgerschaft, while the Social Democratic Party (SPD) fell to second place. The Greens and The Left also recorded small upswings. Despite winning a narrow plurality, the CDU was opposed by a left-wing majority in the Bürgerschaft. Incumbent Mayor Carsten Sieling resigned after the election, and was succeeded by fellow SPD member Andreas Bovenschulte, who formed a three-party coalition government between the SPD, Greens, and Left. This was the first time that The Left had been involved in a government in western Germany. (en)

- Les élections régionales de 2019 à Brême (en allemand : Bürgerschaftswahl in Bremen 2019) se tiennent le 26 mai 2019, afin d'élire les 84 députés de la 20e législature du Bürgerschaft, pour un mandat de quatre ans. Avec une participation en hausse de près de 14 points, ce scrutin est marqué par la première défaite du Parti social-démocrate depuis la fondation du Land. Le parti au pouvoir depuis plus de sept décennies est en effet devancé par l'Union chrétienne-démocrate et l'alliance qu'il forme depuis huit ans avec Les Verts perd sa majorité absolue. Le président du Sénat social-démocrate Carsten Sieling, qui achève son premier mandat, renonce à se succéder. Le SPD le remplace par Andreas Bovenschulte, qui prend la tête d'une « coalition rouge-rouge-verte » unissant les deux partis du gouvernement et Die Linke.
